Candy Store Fieldtrip

Since our kids have such a short summer, I want to make it as fun as possible. My friend, Suzy, arranged for a group of us to go on a tour at the Sweets candy factory. It was fun to see how the candies are made and samples were the best. I let the kids pick out their own assortment of salt water taffy to take home. On the way home, we stopped at the car wash to get the van washed. The kids thought that was just as fun as the candy shop. After we got home Kyson said "Mom, I want to go to the candy store and the car wash again someday. That was so fun!"
